RYANAIR TO APPEAL ANY EU PROHIBITION..AER LINGUS BID COMMISSIONER JOAQUIN ALMUNIA...Ryanair have the lowest salary of Probationary cabin crew in Europe...great news which will stop thousands of extra young people being exploited by Ryanair

Ryanairdontcare Campaign are pleased with the news that it is looking like Ryanair's bid for Aer Lingus is ''DOOMED To FAIL'' a word Michael O'Leary continues to use regarding the no1 Anti Ryanair campaign ''RYANAIRDONTCARE''.....
As you can see from the article below from  Ryanair's head of communications Kiely.

Robin Kiely said:
“It appears clear from this morning’s meeting, that no matter what remedies Ryanair offered, we were not going to get a fair hearing and were going to be prohibited regardless of competition rules.
Given Ryanair’s remedies package clearly addresses every issue raised in the EU’s Statement of Objections, any decision to prohibit would be manifestly unfair and in contravention of EU competition rules. Ryanair has no alternative but to appeal any prohibition decision and we expect to get a fair hearing at the European Courts, as we haven’t received one from Commissioner Almunia and his case team. This decision is clearly a political one to meet the narrow, vested interests of the Irish Government and is not based on competition law.”

John said,
This is great news which will stop thousands of extra young people being exploited by Ryanair.
The Probationary Ryanair Cabin Crew Contract is a SCAM and young people need to be aware that Ryanair's motto ''LIVE THE HIGH LIFE'' is simply a Lie.
Ryanair ''Scum'' say they will never get a fair hearing over their Aer Lingus bid which is yet one more Lie.
Ryanair have have their own way for to many years now and let us hope people are starting to see the damage Ryanair are doing with their false Pilot jobs and cabin crew jobs for young people.

Ryanair's Michael O'Leary continues to cry like a baby, throwing a rattle from his pram, stating other airlines are more favored when the real reason being Ryanair's 60% TERMINATION rate of new recruited cabin crew all paying up to 3000 euro to train plus under 10 euro a hour flight pay leads to exploitation.Other airlines have issues regarding employment but Ryanair have the lowest salary and highest termination rate of Probationary cabin crew in Europe.
Commissioner Joaquin Almunia was sent the letter below in 2012 from Ryanairdontcare Campaign...

DG COMPETITION
Merger Registry (Ref : M.6663)
Rue Joseph II 70
1049 Brussels

Dear Joaquin Almunia,

I am writing to you today regarding Ryanair Holdings Limited who are registered as an Irish company.

The European Commission are aware of the bid by Ryanair Holdings Limited for Aer Lingus.
I will not pretend to understand the full process which is involved with this bid but feel employment issues regarding Ryanair should be brought to the attention of the DG Competition.

In 2004 David Bonderman from TPG became chairman of Ryanair Holdings Limited and introduced agency probationary contracts which involved Cabin Crew.
I must inform you that TPG (   http://www.tpg.com/ ) are involved with bidding for Stansted Airport in the UK.

Ryanair have two types of contracts for cabin crew that work on their aircraft.
One being a Ryanair contract cabin crew which totals 20% of the cabin crew workforce. The other being a probationary contract which is 80% of the cabin crew workforce which is given out by a so called third party providers,Crewlink Ireland Limited (http://www.crewlink.ie/) and Workforce International (http://www.workforceintl.com/) which were set up in 2004 the very same time as David Bonderman became chairman at Ryanair. The probationary Ryanair cabin crew contract is what is very concerning and must be looked at.

This probationary Ryanair cabin crew contract is given out by Crewlink and Workforce International after a 6 week Ryanair cabin crew training program is completed at a cost of up to €3,000  for each student.I must point out that Easyjet cabin crew training program has no charge to students.
From 2004 till 2008 in a four year period 8981 probationary Ryanair contracts have been given out by one agent Crewlink Limited (Now Crewlink Ireland Limited) with a average of 2200 for each year from one agent. As for Workforce International i am not sure of their contracts given out.I can confirm Ryanair's Head of Communications  Stephen McNamara did confirm in writing that there was a 30% Termination rate of probationary Ryanair cabin crew in 2010 which is very much  underestimated and could be as high as 60%.
If Ryanair are successful in their bid for Aer Lingus  we will see bigger numbers of young people all over Europe being recruited as Probationary cabin crew by Ryanair for Aer Lingus with a much higher numbers of terminations.
I must point out that the employment practice being delivered by Ryanair management is not only delivering Social Dumping of workers in Europe but wrecking the lives of young people wishing a career in aviation and in some cases have lead to health issues and suicide.

Average number of employees in 2005 being 2,604 staff costs 140,997.Average yearly salary per staff member £54,146
Average number of employees  in 2006 being 3,063 staff costs £171,412,000.Average yearly salary per staff member £55,962
Average number of employees  in 2007 being 3,991 staff costs £226,580,000.Average yearly salary per staff member £56,772
Average number of employees in 2008 being 5,262 staff costs  £285,343,000.Average yearly salary per staff member £54,227

Average number of employees in 2012 being 8,500 staff costs  £415,343,000.Average yearly salary per staff member £48,823

At 2012 pilot numbers at Ryanair are 3000..Average yearly salary of £72,000 =£216,000,000
At 2012 engineers numbers at Ryanair 500..Average yearly salary of £30,000 = 24,000,000
At 2012 office staff numbers at Ryanair 300.. Average yearly salary of  £20,000 = £6,000,000
At 2012 Ryanair contracted cabin crew numbers at Ryanair 940. Average yearly salary £25,000 = 23,500.000
At 2012 probationary cabin crew at Ryanair numbers 3750 at Ryanair. Average yearly salary £12,000 = 45.120.000

Total staff average cost in 2012 is £324.620.000..There is an over charge of £90,000,000 which is paid to third party agents, who recruit and train crew at Ryanair...Ryanair will lead up to believe that a low cost airline would achieve this high over charge to man their airline.
I put in to the DG COMPETITION that this over charge is a result of a high termination rate of crew and the extra hourly rate so called third party agents receive from Ryanair which shareholders are not aware of.

I wish to thank the DG COMPETITION for taking time to ready this letter and would hope you would look in to these issues stated above.
Thank you for your time.

Kindest regards

John Foley.

ASSESSMENT RYANAIR/CREWLINK MANCHESTER AIRPORT 28th OCTOBER 2012...

Ryanairdontcare Campaign founder John Foley attended the Ryanair cabin crew assessment day 28th October 2012 at the Bewleys Hotel Manchester Airport. It was a big recruitment drive by Ryanair through Crewlink who are Ryanair.
Ryanairdontcare Campaign can confirm this assessment day was a total disaster for Ryanair's Michael O'Leary, the reason being,Mr O'Leary continues to inform us that Ryanairdontcare Campaign has NO effect whatsoever on Ryanair's cabin crew recruitment and Ryanairdontcare Campaign is doomed to fail.....4 years on,still strong with many young people wishing a career in aviation are staying away from Ryanair.
Only 30 students attended this big recruitment drive by Ryanair which is still to many. The last assessment day at the very same venue had over 100 students...

Warning to young people wishing a career in aviation as cabin crew.Crewlink and Workforce International are Ryanair.
Contracts are given by the two sham companies above so that once your terminated no blame legally can be placed at Ryanair's door...

RYANAIR'S CABIN CREW & PILOTS UNLAWFUL EMPLOYMENT Not Only In FRANCE,ALL OVER EUROPE....

French court.....
Ryanair’s work practices in the country has been delayed for several months after the airline changed its legal team.
The trial, which was due to take place in Aix-en-Provence 29th/30th January 2013, has been billed as likely to decide the future of the low cost aviation sector in France by some. France’s La Tribune newspaper said today that if Ryanair loses the case it could cause low cost airlines to abandon bases in the country.
The airline is under formal investigation because of a suspicion that it has employed staff at its Marseilles base on Irish work contracts. It is particularly focussed on the employment contracts of 127 workers.
Ryanair has threatened to close its base in Marseilles if the matter goes before the court. Chief executive Michael O’Leary has previously branded the matter as “stupid”, saying that Ryanair’s aircraft are registered in Ireland and that its employees pay their taxes, social security contributions and pensions here, in accordance with European legislation
It is accused of using clandestine workers, of unlawful employment of air crew, of hindering the establishment of a works committee and a hygiene and safety committee and of obstructing trade unions.
French trade unions have accused Ryanair of “social dumping in relation to employees, and unfair competition”, according to La Tribune.
If found guilty, Ryanair could be hit with a maximum fine of €225,000. But any order to repay missed social security charges would potentially greatly increase the level of compensation faced by the airline.

RYANAIR CABIN CREW On SHAM probationary cabin crew CONTRACT EARN ''WHAT''....

As you can see present Ryanair cabin crew comments below are a warning to new recruits.Time for you to open your eyes, check information on the Internet and decide to stay away from Exploiters ''RYANAIR''..Crewlink,Dalmac.StJames will Lie to you as they are working with Ryanair to recruitment SCAM you....

I am cabin crew for ryanair for 2 and a half years now. The money is disgraceful. they deducted  £300 each month for 10 months when i first started. during the winter you are forced to take unpaid leave and have more standbys than flying days and earn at the lowest £400 and highest about £600  .In summer lowest of about £850 and highest is usually averaged  at £1150 ,please don't work for ryanair r, i can't express that enough to people

People ask that question, why i have stayed, once you've paid for all the training etc, you are then waiting for the contract, and i was next in line for it, so waited my time out. i would have been doing my CSS (cabin service supervisor) training next month (which meant a salary plus flight pay plus commission. overall better money) i wanted this for 6 months/a year for my cv. but we have now had a meeting about reduction of aircraft in Bristol  so they are now transferring half the cabin crew and 7 captains out of Bristol  meaning i will no longer be doing my upgrade to CSS as they won't need any more for this base. Knowing this, i now am looking at other airlines as there is nothing for me here now, and i'm fed up of being fed so many lies and utter crap from the company.

Ryanair will recruit constantly because they get paid for it, they will keep some crew for 6 months and then sack them. in my base we had too many crew and we were all on standby a lot, but they continue to get new crew as it brings in more money for them. crew are numbers on their screen, so they won't be bothered about getting rid of others, but they usually just keep them on and have everyone on standby

"A regime of suppression and dictatorship."

Visitors to the Merseyside County Association of Trades Union Councils: Adelphi Hotel, Ranelagh Street, Liverpool.
Please take a little time watching the three Dutch videos below with main stream UK media not interested (apart from THE SCUM) which involve four Ryanair pilots.First two videos will show the concerns of Ryanair pilots, putting a side aircraft being low on fuel or not, you can clearly hear the fear from these pilots and i would ask you what chance have young Probationary  Cabin Crew got. EXPLOITED for profit.Since 2004 with  thousands of young probationary cabin crew  unfairly TERMINATED,left in a foreign land, penniless which has lead to sickness and issues relating to suicide with no help coming from any form of unions..Let us not forget RYANAIR Management are very Anti union with the help of Irish legislation and i would ask visitors today to BOYCOTT and spread the word ''Europe's Greatest Training Robbers ''RYANAIR'' BOYCOTT...
Listen to Michael O'Leary who is clearly rattled by the KRO reporter...

Ryanair pilots voice concerns on safety
Professional organisations call for an inquiry
Ryanair pilots regularly fly with less fuel than they'd like according to four Ryanair pilots in KRO's programme, 'Reporter'. They claim that to cut costs they are pressurised into taking as little fuel on board as possible. They see their participation in KRO's 'Reporter' as a wake-up call. "I hope it doesn't take a crash to wake everyone up", says one of them. In 'Reporter', professional organisations call for an in-depth inquiry into the Irish airline's fuel policy.

"Pilots are pressurised into taking as little fuel on board as possible in order to cut costs for the company", one of the pilots says. According to the four pilots this puts safety at risk. "We're always looking for the margins, the regulatory margins too", one of them claims. "Does this affect safety? Yes, it does", replies a colleague.

The pilots link this to events on the 26th of July of this year when three Ryanair planes all sent out mayday emergency calls due to low fuel levels on the same evening when approaching Valencia airport. During a press conference in Madrid, the Ryanair management claimed correct procedures had been followed. But a Spanish air-traffic controller said they were 'emergency' procedures. A reconstruction carried out by Reporter of that evening's events shows a disaster scenario waiting to happen. The pilots claim the incident was a direct result of Ryanair's rigid fuel policy. "If nothing changes then safety will go downhill", was the reaction of one pilot. "Yes, I'm afraid that something will happen if some issues don't change", another pilot said.

Nico Voorbach, President of the European Cockpit Association (ECA) is very concerned about Ryanair's policy: "It's just a matter of time before an aircraft has no fuel left at all. Voorbach is calling for an in-depth inquiry. The ECA is supported by the Dutch Airline Pilots Association. Its chairman Evert van Zwol says: 'I'd like to call for an in-depth inquiry. Not only in the Netherlands but also Europe-wide in order to take a good look at what's going on there.'

In the programme, the four whistleblowers talk about the deep-rooted fear culture at the company. They say that pilots are barely able to resist the pressure. 'When pilots voice their concerns they are punished', they claim. One of the sanctions imposed on pilots who are too critical is to be transferred to a base far away from home. A former captain described Ryanair's management style as: "A regime of suppression and dictatorship."

John Said,
The article below from the Daily Mirror in 2011 featured a real hero, James Anderson who was sacked by Ryanair for handing out a unite the union leaflet to a probationary cabin crew member, the very same probationary cabin crew members Ryanairdontcare Campaign have been fighting for since 2008...

                     One True Hero

if any firm was going to try to take employment laws back to the dark ages there was always a good chance it would be Ryanair.
Pilot James Anderson, below, was sacked by the airline because he allegedly "compromised safety".

His offence was to hand a membership form for Britain's biggest union, Unite, to a stewardess.
And that, you suspect, is what the airline really hated. At an employment tribunal this week, Ryanair insisted that as the captain, Anderson held a "highly responsible role" and "He must not be distracted in such a way that compromises safety - he did, and was sacked for gross misconduct."Really? At the time the flight from Stansted to Mallorca was on automatic pilot at cruising altitude with a co-pilot at the controls. The tribunal hearing in London was due to last four days. In the event, Ryanair surrendered within hours and must now pay 45-year-old Captain Anderson, who'd worked for the airline for eight years, £40,000 compensation. In a statement Captain Anderson, who hasn't had full-time work for two years since being sacked, said: "I am delighted with the result and now just want to get on and look after my family."Jim McAuslan, general secretary of the pilots' union BALPA, said: "The union believes that he should never have been dismissed in these circumstances."Ryanair has repeatedly refused to negotiate with unions and an attempt by Balpa to win recognition failed just months before Captain Anderson was sacked.Brendan Gold, Unite's national officer, said: "Ryanair has a record of being extremely aggressive towards unions but Unite will continue to support the right of staff working for Ryanair to organise themselves into a trade union."The airline responded to the case with the grace you'd expect: "We have no problem with pilots distributing leaflets in their own time, but not during a flight, when they should be attending to the aircraft, going through their checklists and prioritising the safety of Ryanair's aircraft, and not the membership of failed BA trade unions."

Malchiwka places comments in reply to new recruits doubts about Ryanair...As you can see below he is not the average Ryanair employee and Ryanairdontcare Campaign believe he is used by Ryanair SCAMMERS to keep new recruits happy joining Ryanair.
Ryanair will use every trick in the book to SCAM you...

Ive had 7 days work in the past month and I'll be lucky if I get enough to pay rent this month! Also she said we're very likely to be going back on a 6-2 6-3 roster. People with contracts are getting a pay rise while all us agency workers are getting absolutely nothing again and were told like it or leave! Good Luck!

Hi, in which base are you in?

Of course it all depends on the base you are based at, the smaller the base the less chance for you to be promoted.

Yes, we might be going back to 6-2-6-3, but this is as a result of the agreement Ryanair contractors had 7 years ago and since the agreement is expiring this April.
This is nothing to do with the work environment for the crew...
If we don't sign the agreement everyone will get 8 more days of holidays a year and 1 more shift less a month.
You going to get 1 more day of work a week, but is most likely to be a HSBY, since you can't go over 100 hours a month...

Nobody says it is easy job in Ryanair... I'm not saying that sometimes I'm so pissed off with the entire world that i just want to give my resignation in, pack my bags and go...

There will be always people who will badmouth the airline and there will always be people who had a bad experience in the airline and who have been treated in inappropriate way and the only thing they do is write about this in a forum and not take any action but cry in a pillow for whoever has treated them badly...

I have been working in the airline for 9 years and went through loads of up and downs in this airline and know people who have been demoted unfairly, but they have been promoted after that and they still working and trying their best...

Aggressive questions Malchiwka,i think we can let members of this forum decide why you have refused to answer why you are pretending to be going on a training course on one post, then on other post saying you have worked for ryanair for nine years.
