This Merseyside teenager  has done really well getting his wings,like many young probationary cabin crew at Ryanair do,these young people are trained as Pilots and cabin crew at Ryanair with 60% of new recruited probationary Ryanair cabin crew terminated in under 12 months.
 Ryan Irwin will now have to invests thousands of pounds,paid to Ryanair to train to fly their Boeing 737–800 aircraft....
 On paying and passing this training to fly Boeing 737-800 he will be offered a contract through a Pilot agency,chosen by Ryanair,given a probationary contract with him applying as being self employed,being no pension, no contributions, no health care from Ryanair.

I thought I would inform you that the comment about Cabin Crew being allowed to play with the planes controls was from me. 

A very senior captain within Ryanair allowed my partrner to play with the planes controls whilst in flight while the First Officer went to the toilet. It is protocol for a cabin crew member to sit in if the First Officer or Captain is out, but the playing of the controls is way past safety. xxxxxxxx told me how the captain xxxxxxxx told her to press buttons and twist dials to let the plane bank left and right. All in an effort to show off as he is a womanising.

John, I will inform you now, I've been out to see her on a few occasions, your fight is worth it all the way, 90% of cabin crew where she is hated the job, but liked the lifestyle. Crewlink are exploiting them, and 50% tax rates, being put into a country where nobody speaks English and health care has dropped dramatically, it has changed people and it's a shame to say that has a knock on effect.

I wish you all the best and I will keep an eye on the updates. I will post up more things as the months go on and I find out more, the trainee pilots don't get an easy ride too, without pay for 4-5 months whilst flying normal hours.

The meeting took place at the Unite head office between John Foley,Sharon Graham ( Director of Organising  and Leverage )  and Tony Woodel  former ( Joint General Secretary of Unite ) who famously tore up a copy of the Sun newspaper and was the British Airways Cabin Crew strike union leader..
The meeting was instigated by Len McCluskey ( General Secretary of Unite ).

Much of what was discussed and agreed at this meeting can not be told here on this blog as we are aware of the monitoring done by Ryanair,giving Europe's Greatest Exploiters of Young People our plan would not be wise.

Norwegian Finance Minister Sigbjørn Johnsen says he will demand that employees of Irish low-fare airline Ryanair who are based in Norway must pay taxes to Norway and not to Ireland. The demand comes just as Norway’s national pilots’ organisation is demanding an audit of the airline, and as the national heart and lung association was urging a boycott.

 

The pilot’s organization (Norsk Flygerforbund) claimed over the weekend that it’s been trying to clarify which state authorities are responsible for working conditions at Ryanair for the past two years. “We’ve seen the development of ‘management by fear’ at the airline,” Aleksander Wasland of the pilots’ association told newspaper Dagsavisen. “We think the ministries have chosen to avoid dealing with this.”
His group represents 1,500 pilots in Norway and he fears the spread of Ryanair’s business model to other airlines. Norwegian Air is also setting up bases in other countries and hiring cheaper, lower-paid employees through crewing agencies to work on board the aircraft. It expects employees to pay tax, though, to their countries of residence, not Norway, unlike Ryanair which claims only Irish tax law and regulations apply to its crews.
The pilots’ concerns come as Norway’s national heart and lung association (Landsforeningen for hjerte- og lungesyke, LHL), was claiming that overworked and underpaid cabin crews pose a security risk. It planned to send an e-mail to all its 45,000 members and more than 650 employees this week advising them to boycott Ryanair. The airline has been making headlines for the past week after two of its Norwegian-based flight attendants sued Ryanair for what they claimed were unwarranted dismissals. The flight attendants also shared their contracts with one of Norway’s major labour federations, revealing low pay and working conditions that prompted union officials to call them “slave contracts.”


Ryanair has a solid record of safety, with among the best safety statistics in Europe. LHL leader Frode Jahren nonetheless stressed that if cabin crews are exhausted, unhappy and may not even have been able to afford to buy enough food, it can affect their performance in the air. “Working conditions and health are connected,” Jahren told newspaper Dagsavisen on Monday. “When a Ryanair employee sends a letter to Norwegian authorities saying that Ryanair employees lack food, and work under contracts that provide no paid sick leave, those are examples of what does not promote good health and safety.”
LHL was encouraging other patient organizations in Norway and health care institutions to join the boycott. Several other organizations have also advised against flying with Ryanair, while one Member of Parliament, Bjørnar Moxnes of the Reds party, demanded that all of Ryanair’s aircraft be grounded before a serious accident occurs. With less than 2 percent of voter support, though, it was unlikely Moxnes’ demand would get much backing.
‘Must pay tax in Norway’
Meanwhile, Norway’s finance minister Johnsen from the Labour Party says Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary is wrong in claiming that Ryanair cabin crews in Norway must pay tax to Ireland because they work on board Irish-registered aircraft. Johnsen told Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) on Monday that if they live in Norway for more than 183 days a year, then they must pay tax to Norway and in turn be eligible for Norway’s social welfare benefits.
Johnsen told NRK that Ryanair employees may be hit with back taxes but will also get Norwegian rights and pension credits.
O’Leary continues to argue that Irish law applies to Ryanair’s employees, in accordance with EU rules. He has pointed out to NRK that Norway used a similar argument in demanding that Norwegian seafarers on Norwegian-registered ships also had to pay tax to Norway no matter where the ships were in the world. Ryanair employees are mostly compensated for the hours they spend in the air, with little if any pay when they are on the ground or on standby.
Some observers have predicted that Ryanair will shut down its Norwegian base if forced to pay Norway’s higher labour costs, but Espen Andersen, an assistant professor at Norwegian Business School BI wasn’t so sure. “Norway is more expensive than many other countries, but we also fly a lot,” Andersen told NRK. He thinks O’Leary will decide it’s worth continuing to run flights to and from Norway, even if forced to raise workers’ pay and fares.

Norwegian pension fund boycotts Ryanair..RYANAIR SHAREPRICE SCAM...ryanair recruitment for termination..exploit young cabin crew..

Norwegian life and pensions group, Storebrand, is boycotting Irish airline, Ryanair, on “sustainability” grounds, according to reports.

Storebrand said that it will not include Ryanair in any of its investment portfolios, meaning that none of its investment funds can buy the airline’s shares.

In addition, it has ordered its 2,000 staff not to use the carrier for work-related travel.

According to the reports, the Norwegian group has decided to boycott the Irish company on sustainability grounds.

Ryanair is one of 120 businesses in which Storebrand said it does not invest. It is not clear whether any other airlines are on the group’s blacklist and it did not say when it adopted this policy towards the Irish company.

The report did not say how Storebrand defines “sustainability”. Attempts to contact a spokesman yesterday were not successful, as its offices were closed for the Easter holiday.

The airline declined to comment on the matter.

Storebrand is listed on the Oslo stock market and provides life assurance, genera linsurance , pension and investment services to the Scandinavian market.

The group’s share price dived recently following the publication by Norway’s financial regulator of new rules requiring life assures to boost reserves to compensate for longer life expectancy.

Ratings agency Moody’s warned that the move would hit the group’s profits, sparking a 3.5 per cent dip in its share price.

Investors will have to provide around 20 per cent of the extra reserves required.

Ryanair recently announced that it plans to spend €11.7 billion on buying 175 new aircraft from US manufacturer, Boeing.

euro so b4 you even start work they have you in 3000 euro debt!they

month.your not even guaranteed your base you could be sent to
frankurt or torp like people on my course were after they done there
training!! you have to pay 360 euro in the first year for your uniform
which is also taking out of your pay each month!then they will tell you
they will give you a joiners payment, this is were they make you think
there doing you a favour by giving you 1200 euro of the money back to
you in your pay over the first 6 months as a good will gesture.i was

The Dutch association of airline pilots VNV-DALPA knows of at least one case of a house search with a Ryanair pilot in the Netherlands. The pilot union suspects this house search has been performed at the request of the German fiscal authorities. President Evert van Zwoltold the ANP that there have been more cases in Germany.

According to VNV, these house searches have been ‘fairly recent’ and concern Ryanair employees for whom supposedly no taxes and social premiums have been paid. More countries are investigating the practices of this low-cost airline. ‘It appears to be a pattern’ van Zwol says.

Pilots and other employees usually do not enter employment with this airline, but work as freelancers. The contracts with Ryanair are drawn up in a manner that often makes it unclear who is responsible for the payment of taxes and social premiums.

The fiscal regulations that pilots and cabin attendants have to deal with largely differ per country. Therefore employees know very little about them when they have to sign the agreement. Moreover, in the present labour market they often have no choice except agreeing with what Ryanair offers. Van Zwol believes this airline skilfully profits of this situation.

VNZ shares the concerns expressed this week by the Ryanair pilot association RPG. ‘Ryanair pilots shouldn’t have to worry about raids in their homes when they are responsible for the safety and lives of millions of passengers. The Dutch association of airline pilots finds this ‘take it or leave it’ approach unacceptable’.

Amongst others in Italy an ongoing investigation has resulted in large retrospective collections of taxes. This week, Norway has also announced it is investigating the state of affairs, as a result of complaints by fired employees that accused Ryanair of imposing ‘slavery contracts’.

Michael O'Leary and David Bonderman have made over 400 million euro's behind the backs of shareholders by using so called third party agents to recruit,train and employ as probationary cabin crew and pilots.80% of crew are employed this way with a hourly rate of pay being given to Bonderman and O'Leary from agents after Ryanair have paid crew.....
Termination rates of young probationary cabin crew all over Euro have help keep this SCAM going...

Even when crew are on probation if they become pregnant they have to be kept on,so if they become pregnant in January, they average her pay for the 3 months previous,and pay them that. They basically just work in the office for the next few months doing odd jobs and helping with paper work.
I did see the discussion about it on the website. This is what happens. I could tell you some horror stories all the same John!
Mark Gray a former European base manager, came to our base and gave a big long winded speech about people getting pregnant and so on. A probationary crew member became pregnant and didn't know about it,had a miscarriage during one of her flights, took a week off sick,and was marched to Dublin for a "welfare" meeting, got sacked in the end! Another girl had an abortion, but back to Mark Gray,our base supervisor rang him, and unknown to him at the time, he didn't know I was listening, he called and said quote on quote "I have some good news for you,she got rid of IT"...That is  the kind of management at Ryanair!
People don't know the true extent of the cost put on probationary cabin crew.

Today at 10.15am Merseyside Police made contact with Ryanairdontcare Campaign asking if any protest was planned for the grand national.
We informed  Merseyside Police that no protest was planned but if Ryanair had sponsored a race then a protest may have taken place at this years Grand National meeting in Liverpool....

As you can see below an article posted yesterday on Bloomberg.com which to people that do not know how Ryanair Europe's biggest  exploiter of their workforce,you would think Ryanair are being generous to their crew.You must look at this article with an open mind and see both sides before you judge.

Firstly below is the article which was only information which has been releast by Ryanair to the press,then look at Ryanairdontcare Campaign's article telling the other side...

Ryanair Holdings Plc Europe's biggest discount carrier, agreed to boost the average salary of its cabin crew and some pilots, replacing pay deals due to expire next month.

Flight attendants will get an average 10 percent increase over four years and a guaranteed “home every night” roster, Dublin-based Ryanair said in a statement today.

Under a separate agreement, Ryanair pilots based in Alicante, Spain, Cork and Shannon in Ireland and working out of Bristol, Luton and East Midlands airports in the U.K. will get pay increases of as much as 10 percent over the next five years. The pilots at these bases, as well those located in Manchester, England and Valencia, Spain, also negotiated a five-day working schedule, followed by four days off, the airline said.

“At a time when high-fare airlines around Europe are cutting jobs and slashing pay and benefits, Ryanair will continue to offer stability, job security” and promotions, spokesman Robin Kiely said in the statement.

Network carriers including Air France (AF) and International Consolidated Airlines Group SA-controlled Iberia are seeking to reduce payroll costs to drive a return to profitability in their short-haul operations. Air France’s main pilot union said March 21 that it would refuse to cooperate with the carrier’s cost- cutting plans.

Firstly,
Boost the average salary of cabin crew and SOME pilots...Why Some pilots ,well up to 80% of pilots at Ryanair are not contracted by Ryanair,third party so called agents employ them which means 80% of Ryanair pilots get no increase in their salary which in so cases are as low as 30,000 euro per year..
Secondly,
Ryanair use so called third party agents Crewlink and Workforce International to recruit and give flying contract out to 80% of cabin crew,these are called probationary cabin crew (who can and will be TERMINATED in large numbers at any time),their salary is as low as 8000 euro per year.
20% of Ryanair's contracted cabin crew get the 10% which if you look at the bloomberg article,one thinks all Ryanair crew will receive this increase.Over the last 5 years probationary Ryanair cabin crew have had their hourly rate of pay cut by 18% and Ryanair have plans to cut even further.
Probationary Ryanair cabin crew are paid as little as 10 euro per hour after tax which is appalling after Ryanair's profit last year reached 500 Million euro. Ryanair say ''guaranteed “home every night” roster, Dublin-based Ryanair said in a statement today''.
 Home every night is no great thing as Ryanair only pay probationary cabin crew(80% of cabin crew) when they fly..If a flight is delayed for any reason for any length of time NO PAY....
Ryanair give statements to the press that suits them and we all know Michael O'Leary to be a liar as it has been told by Justice Peter Kelly...
