Letter sent from Ryanairdontcare Campaign to Theresa Griffin European Parliament regarding RYANAIR Exploitation. . Dear Theresa Griffin, I am in contact with you today regarding employment practices at Ryanair. Crewlink Ireland and Damac's Workforce International who are two Irish agencies being used by Ryanair (since 2004) in a confusing way to hide low pay and very poor working conditions, with a high termination rate of newly recruited cabin crew who are called PROBATIONARY RYANAIR CABIN CREW. To make you aware, your colleague Rt Hon Frank Field MP Chair of Work and Pensions and Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee has taken up this case since December 2017. Mr Feild has now wrote to Jon Thompson Chief Executive of HMRC and Sir David Metcalf the Director of Labour Market Enforcement asking them to investigate Ryanair and the agencies used to supply probationary cabin crew. http://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/commons-select/work-and-pensions-committee/news-parliament-2017/ryan-air-with-beis-17-19/ https://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/commons-select/work-and-pensions-committee/news-parliament-2017/ryanair-correspondence-17-19/ https://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/commons-select/work-and-pensions-committee/news-parliament-2017/ryanair-employment-practices-taylor-review-17-19/ There seems to be concern regarding these agencies contracts as probationary cabin crew are required to work additional unpaid hours, high ,training cost and cabin crew uniform rental. Seems like Ryanair are hiding their recruitment, employment of these probationary cabin crew behind a smoke screen and giving Disinformation deliberately to deceive us all. With 3,500+ staff working for Ryanair in UK and thousands more all over Europe, I feel it is very important for the European Parliament to be made aware of these investigation and would hope all Rt Hon Frank Field MP's counterparts all over Europe would hold their own investigation into these matters. We are potentially talking about a workforce of 8,500 young people from all over Europe. My name is John Foley founder of Ryanairdontcare Campaign www.ryanairdontcarecrew.blogspot.com since 2009 when I believe my 18 year old daughter Sarah fell foul of Ryanair’s recruitment and employment practices through agent Crewlink, which lead to her being exploited and left penniless abroad. Wish to thank you for taking time to read my email. Kindest regards John Foley
