Today pilots received a memo on the companies "Crewdock" website.
Quote:
It has been noted by the 2320 REPAweb.org pilot members that Ryanair have used "Eversheds" a company in the UK reknowed for its "union busting" service. So much for ryanair saying they will recognise pilot unity if the majority of pilots join up. Typical union busting moves include memos telling pilots the pilot associations do not have our best interests at heart and that unions will cause you damage. Both of these we have seen here and in last weeks memo regarding pilots turning to IALPA to help them insure Ryanair is investigating safety issues correctly e.g (over wing exits controversy which ryanair ignored for 4 months, putting profit before safety). Dammed if you dammed if you don't seems to be the theme coming from Ryanair. This is the most poorly written memo in all the years of ryanair attempting to scare and put pressure on pilots, and pilots are amused the dictator did not even have the balls to sign it. | |
