RYANAIR BULLYING CABIN CREW IN BARCELONA. Memo.
This Ryanair memo has been issued in Barcelona base.
It is basically bullying people to sell more, saying that if their selling targets are not achieved these cabin crew will be moved to a different base and country.
Scaring strategy to push people to sell even more on board.
Disgusting... How do Ryanair get away with this..
Time to boycott flying Ryanair for sure.

RYANAIR CABIN CREW VPOS DEVICES FRAUD BY RYANAIR.
Ryanair late 2016 introduced the new VPOS devices with the Lie promise of better sales bonus on all items sold by cabin crew on board.
What Ryanair don't tell you is mistakes with this new VPOS device by cabin crew will be treated as FRAUD and gross misconduct which ends with Termination.
The sales commission records produced by these new devices are flawed creating even more profit for Ryanair and lost money out of cabin crew salary.
THE IS FRAUD...
You can see the threats from the Ryanair memo below.

RYANAIR CABIN CREW SPEAKS TRUTH..
Good morning.
I'm a Ryanair cabin crew but i have to remain anonymus for my own protection.
I worked for this airline for quite some time now, i'm based in Italy and i believe it's
time to talk about our working conditions.
We can't contact unions and this point is stated in our contract but we would like to
use the opportuniy that you offered us to give you some information about our
company.
In these years I've read many articles on magazines and newspapers about Ryanair
but often they are inaccurate. There's only one information that came out frequently
and it's truthful: Ryanair disrespect employees.
As I mentioned before, we are not allowed to spread information about our company
nor to contact the union. "Don't wash your dirty linen in public" is the motto. If you fail to comply with this rule you face dismissal for gross misconduct.
As a consequence you feel solitude and fear.
Ryanair was never open to exchange of views, negotiations and debates. When we
had the chance to speak with managers, we never felt understanding from them. The
only offer that we always receive is to resign if we don't like something and our dignity
and professionalism are affected by. For Ryanair we are a staff number and a crew
code; nobody keeps you here if you are unhappy, even though you are a great cabin
crew.
The company policy is to earn the most saving the most. If one leaves, another two
will be hired paying the training (about 2000 euro and you get back 1200 euro if you
stay for at least 1 year). Our misery is basically part of their business.
Colleagues are often the only way to vent, even if the reign of terror established by
the Company sometimes "kills" the relationships and the trust which are normally
building up in a working place. This because Ryanair push us to report each other.
In my opinion this is a very dangerous system, as it can be used against weakest
people. It produces discontent, hard feelings and hate, it encourages individualism
and it produces stress.
Another issue that we have to face is the strong pressure that the Company puts on
us, for example with the on-board sales, considered by Ryanair as a very important
part of their business strategy, and basically our main duty.
We have targets to reach every day, which include duty free products, scratch cards,
from few weeks food and in the large an average spend.
At the end of the duty we face a debriefing. If we didn't sell enough we have to explain
the reasons to our supervisor, which usually disregard the amount of stress which
faced the crew in the ten or even twelve hours of duty. When you are at the bottom of
the monthly sales chart, you receive a letter where they ask you to improve your
performances or they will reconsider your position.
Fear affect mainly the cabin service supervisors, always afraid to be demoted or
called for explanations by the managers. They go to work worried and they make
junior's working day (cabin service agents) a nightmare. Their only thought is to
indulge Company's requests and to avoid bad reports from mistery passenger. Their
aim is to sell, sell sell and it doesn't matter if the crew had 5 minutes during the ten
hours of duty for a refreshment.
Fatigue and stress give rise to rudeness, arrogance, presumption and, as a
consequence, conflicts. The crew should behave like a team and should always be
ready to react to any problem which could arise on board, main role of the cabin
crews.
This modus operandi produces discord, anger, anxiety. The opposite of what we need
to work.
Ryanair, like many other companies, uses mystery passengers to check crew
performances on board but what it may looks like a normal instrument of surveillance,
in this airline becomes an instrument of punishment and psychological torture. The
mystery passenger in Ryanair is a simple cabin crew, a colleague named by the
company without any kind of different training, whose assignment is to check how
much and in which way the crew is selling things on board. They are not interested in
safety procedure and they are required to point mainly to the negative aspects of
crew performances.
Probably our managers forgot the foundation of business economics: workforce is one
of the fundamentals of a successful firm. Unhappy employees lead to low productivity
and unhappy customers. Unhappy customers lead to loss of earnings.
For new cabin crew, hired after 2011, the situation is even worst.
In general, you start your career in Ryanair signing a contract with an agency and you
are paid for every hour of flight; you don't get any basic salary. Since 2012, social
insurance has to be paid in the country where we are based. In Italy we pay
contributions to INPS; part is on us and part is on the Company. This amount of
money is higher than what we used to pay in Ireland, so Ryanair offered a lower
contract (12% less) to new cabin crew, in order to cover the loss.
We all do the same job, but new hired earn much less.
During a meeting, this situation was brought to the attention of a manager. He
answered that we are happy the way it is, otherwise many of us would have already
resigned. And so no pay increase was given.
Probably, if 40 people would leave tomorrow, he would say that unhappy crew left the
Company, so still no pay increase required.
In Ryanair, you are allowed to be sick but the Company won't be happy about it. Flu or
strong cold are not enough to call sick. If you get sick 3 times in 6 months you have to
face a meeting, even if your illness is certified by a doctor.
To avoid problems, many colleagues are coming to work sick.
When you are sick you have to call crew control and tell them exactly which symptoms
and disease you have. The same day you have to fill in a self certificate, writing once
again about your sickness in details, and fax it to some offices in Dublin. There's no
department which take care of this private things and you never know who's going to
read it.
One year and half ago we were asked to vote for a four years agreement, a pay deal.
The main points were new roster and pay increase. I remember some articles on the
newspapers stating that the Company found an agreement, which satisfied both parts,
even if there are no Unions supporting cabin crew. False.
In that circumstance there wasn't any negotiation. They asked for proposals to all the
bases but they never considered our requests.
They gave us two choices: same roster (5-2 5-3) and pay increase or new roster (6-2
6-3), more tiring, and no pay increase.
Basically, they gave us one choice.
In order to address the lack of Union, the management established the role of ERC, to
represent the cabin crew. When a situation arise, we can talk to them and they report
directly to Dublin.
Even in this case there a big issue: Ryanair isn't open to listen and negotiate.
What is more representatives are mainly cabin crew, working with the same shifts as
everyone else. They conduct this extra duty in their free time.
A real Union would be a great help in dealing with all the problems that we have in
Ryanair. It would bring a better communication with the management and between
bases. It would help us when there's a new law, in Italy on in Europe, when the
Company leave us alone. It would make us feel more respected and protected.
We urgently need a collective labour agreement which includes minimum salary, fair
duties, equal treatment for cabin crew in Europe. Our needs are as important as
Company needs.
We are not asking for inopportune benefits or salaries. We only ask for rules which
give us the opportunity to work peacefully.
We would need an Italian contract, to have finally a clear idea about our rights and
duties for fiscal and legislative aspects. Too many times we are confused about which
law applies, if Irish or Italian, and nobody is able to clarify it.
We ask, to union and istitutions:
• the draft, in a reasonably short time, of a European collective labour
agreement for our profession
• associations, with the aim to verify the procedure of an airline, which gives
same importance to employer and employees
• reasonable duty time, considering the working place, the working hours, the
effect of this profession on the body and the importance of the rest between
duties
• clarification of "rest time" to avoid to receive phone calls from the Company
between two shifts
• clarification about methods used to select new hired and to choose employee
for an advancement
Thank you for reading.
Have a nice day
Ryanair cabin crew
John say,
A big thank you to this Ryanair cabin crew member. This reports comes from a cabin crew member who has a Ryanair contract.Only around 1000 to 12000 have a Ryanair contract, which if this is not bad enough,4000 cabin crew at Ryanair are contracted through third party Crewlink Ireland Ltd set up by Ryanair and Workforce International. These 4000 are exploited at every level in their work place with depression why could lead to suicide.
Ryanair management are SCUM and they are good at their game.Safety of passengers and health of crew is not a priority, PROFIT IS..Ask yourself are you happy, as the paying public to continue using Ryanair knowing they treat their cabin crew so bad.
YOU STILL WANT TO FLY WITH THEM. ......

RYANAIR CABIN CREW TRAINING STUDENT IN HAHN GERMANY.THIS IS A SCAM.
ONE OF THE CHIEF EXPLOITERS JUDY BYRNE CREWLINK ADDRESS,Laragh,Cliff Road,Windgates.Bray,Co Wicklow.
Frank Whelan and Judy Byrne have been used by Ryanair since 2004 as one of two companies (Dalmac in Rush being the second ) to recruit young want to be cabin crew from all parts of Europe.
They set up a second company called Crewlink Ireland Ltd in 2008 Southern Cross Business Park in Bray, Co Wicklow.
What they don't tell you is that their recruitment set up is not all it seems.
With priority being RECRUITMENT for TERMINATION as a way in generation £Millions each year with no blame landing at Ryanair's door.
For many years now this blog has exposed this scam, you can see three of many blog posts below.
http://ryanairdontcarecrew.blogspot.co.uk/2011/05/ryanair-mobsters.html
http://ryanairdontcarecrew.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/ryanair-stjames-management.html
http://ryanairdontcarecrew.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/ryanair-crewlink-recruitment.html
In 2012 Ryanair/Crewlink would hold on average 15 recruitment days a month. In 2017 the average recruitment days are 40.
To put this in context, EASYJET held 6 cabin crew recruitment days in 2016.
The more cabin crew Ryanair/Crewlink recruit the more cabin crew Terminated.
The photo below is my first protest in 2009 against a recruiter in UK set up by Ryanair/Crewlink called St James Management..St James Management were heavily involved with Ryanair/Crewlink in Scamming my 18 year old daughter Sarah.
In 2014 after scamming so many young people for Ryanair/Crewlink, St James Management closed down.I do believe the pressure and protests i did was a factor.
http://ryanairdontcarecrew.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/ryanair-stjames-management.html
The profits generated through exploitation of cabin crew run into the £millions and the Irish Government employment section is FULLY aware of this practice and does nothing.
The comments below have just been sent to this blog regarding the Ryanair/Crewlink training set up in Hahn Germany.
The student has asked me to publish their comments as a way in helping other young people wishing to become cabin crew, to stay clear of Ryanair.
STUDENT TAKING RYANAIR CABIN CREW TRAINING COURSE SAID,,,,
Hi!! I'm currently in HAHN GERMANY for RYANAIR TRAINING COURSE. BEING RIPPED CLEAN OFF. I HOPE YOU CAN SHARE MY STORY TO STOP THIS AIRLINE EXPANDING RECRUITS!!!! If there is also any contacts or information or help/advice to gain any reimbursement of the awfulness I have been through please help!
Basically It's all a scam. I don't like the company it's a rip off. My hotel won't refund me. In the interview and on my training agreement we were advised that the registration fee would cover airport ID ETC. Well I arrived in Hahn they wanted another 50 for the ID when the registration was supposed to cover this. They advised in interview they will help with Irish bank account changes and give us a accomodation pack and letting agencies for base. When we got there they basically said "we don't deal with you once you leave Hahn regarding base information it'll be yourselves" first day Adam from crewlink spoke to everyone like a piece of shit. 250 registration fee was supposed to cover airport ID. To top it off they wouldn't accept my reference as the signature on it was printed and not in pen. THEN they said I needed new shoes just for the course! The course alone was 3000! I flew over from edinbrugh baring in mine I live in Newcastle so had to drive and stay over night before hand. Fly from Edinburgh to Düsseldorf in Germany, then another flight to Thessaloniki in GREECE then back into Hahn. 3 flights in 1 day!! Flew me into Germany then back out again as there was no direct flight into Hahn from Düsseldorf!!! I've found direct flights for 104£ from Edinburgh to Hahn and they made us travel and sit on airports for over 12 hours when a direct flight takes 1 hour 30 mins. On arrival the accommodation was awful I took it upon my self to get my own accommodation called HOTEL BAJAZZO who made me transfer 200€ via bank transfer on FACEBOOK to secure the room when in fact I found out that this hotel DO NOT take payments to secure any rooms at all. Then 500€ on arrival. €700 in total. Ryanair keep asking for additional costs and Ive payed 700 for 4 days as I am leaving because of the way I was treat. The woman at hotel only agrees to give me a 50 deposit I paid back, the police advised me to get a lawyer once back in Newcastle to try FIGHT for MY MONEY!!! After I've spent over 1500 just getting here!!! Now I had to pay my own flight home. CREWLINK couldn't even help with me printing a study pack off email and advised me to find an Internet cafe to print as the library couldn't print it for me as it's needed on the first day, this is NOT AMERICA. We do not have Internet cafes in U.K.! They demanded this printed for the training. Most people turned up unorganised to start with. Once deciding I'm leaving crewlink advised they cannot tell me if there was any flights home and couldn't reimburse a cost for flight neither my registration fee! Advised me to just look on the Ryanair website and book myself. I have been totally ripped off and disgusted with Ryanair. Crewlink and Hotel Bajazzo. Me and my family are not leaving this here. Thank you for your response. Hope to hear soon.
JOHN SAID,
I wish to say a big thank you to this student for telling their true story of training as cabin crew at Ryanair training camp in Hahn Germany.

RYANAIR CREWLINK CABIN CREW STORY.EXPLOITATION SOCIAL DUMPING SAFETY ''NOT PRIORITY''..Please Share this post.Europe's worst airline RYANAIR..
The report below came to Ryanairdontcare Campaign from a former cabin crew at Ryanair. We must confirm Ryanair own Crewlink Ireland Ltd which was set up to exploit young people all over Europe with no blame landing at Ryanair,s door.Crewlink was set up in 2004 and the idea of Texas Billionaire,Ryanair chief David Bonderman.
Bondo to his friends ,had worked with the attorney generals office in Civil Rights in the USA and is guilty of the exploitation and social dumping of 10,000,s of young people all over Europe for Profit.
This blog was involved in this story below showing the wealth of this man Bondo.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2396285/Ryanair-Bonuses-catching-excess-baggage-pushing-e-cigarettes.html
This blog also exposed the Ryanair on board charity scratch card scam.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/ryanair-plane-unfair-charity-lotto-5920749
In 2008 the company name was changed to Crewlink Ireland Ltd with current directors Frank Whelan and Judy Byrne in Dublin.
Crewlink Ireland Ltd is one of two companies used to exploit these cabin crew with Dalmac /Workforce International being the other.
The article below comes from a former Ryanair cabin crew member who worked at Ryanair for four years.
The aviation authorities know what Ryanair are doing and for years have been looking the other way. Profit being a priority one could say.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I just recently found out your web site in which you are pointing several issues about Ryanair.
I would like to inform you about how the company is running now, which is it extremely dissapointing from a motivated worker's point of view.
I have worked in Ryanair for 4 years. I no longer work for them.
I will tell you all my problems during I was working for this company.
0-12 months
I was contracted by Crewlink Ltd Ireland (which anyway it is a company created by Ryanair). This agency is the most disorganized and cheating company I have ever worked with.
During this first year I realized that my payments of the social welfare were delayed over one month. During the first month of unemployment I was not covered by any social insurance even though I got deducted from my salary the correspondent percentage according to the social insurance.
The contracts with Ryanair work in this way: You work on Irish law, with Irish conditions, but the social insurance MUST be paid to the country in which the worker is based or generally operating. This is to comply with the EU regulation 465/12.
During my employment with Crewlink the first year I have been addressed so many problems with them that I will list them:
- Problems to open a bank account in which I MUST open an Irish bank account, no other nationality is allowed (unless working in the UK)
- Forcing us to open the bank account in Ireland, offering a flight (after pressuring them for 2 months ) in your days OFF.
- Not being eligible to get unemployment benefits on your unpaid leave, as for other countries this does not apply (only Ireland recognize this kind of leave)
12-28 months
I got granted a transfer to Greece.
Crewlink did not did its job in this country. We were deducted our percentage of salary for the social welfare in Greece, however in the national offices of employment they did not have any record of the employees whatsoever. We had to pay our doctors and medicaments in full as we were not recognized by Greece as workers. Basically, Crewlink was holding the money without fixing any problem with the Greek government. in this case, Crewlink was doing a clearly social dumping.
The staff in Greece advised million times Crewlink of the situation. They were careless. People needed to go to the doctor and no one paid any single payment for the visits in order to have a health assistant.
16.5% of the salary was deducted to give to the Greek government.
After 1.5 years fighting with them, threatening Crewlink and reporting them, an inspection in the crew room took place. The company got a fine (apparently) of 10000 euros per worker not declared. After 1 month, all the overdue payments were recognized in the country.
Although having a fine of 10000 euros per worker seems a lot, it is not. We were about 50 workers in irregular situation, so that means that the fine was around half a million of euros. Considering that the company does a profit of 1000 euros per annum, 0.5 of a fine represents only a 0.5% of loss, which is not that important.
29 months till the end of the employment
This last period in my career in a Ryanair aircraft was really confusing. The company entered in a constant threatening and bullying system towards the employees.
As part of your main role as cabin crew (safety and security), sales are an important factor for Ryanair. We used to have an electronic machine to record the sales made on board (the machine was called EPOS). In the past, all the sales made in the EPOS were subject to a commission which was a 10% of the total sold , divided into 4 (the crew members on board).
This thing changed on this year. They introduced a new system to record the sales made on-board. It is like a mobile phone. Each crew member receives one. You need to charge it every day. If you get it stolen, you pay it (unless you report this in a police station). If you lose it, you pay it. If you break it, you pay it... All of these, for 400 euros deducted from your salary.
By the time this new "machine" arrived to our hands, the system of commissions changed. All you put through your machine is what you are gonna receive at the end of the month (10% of the total sold). So that means, if you put 500 euros you will get 50 euros of commissions.
This new system has created hatred, greedy, lack of team work and people fighting to sell for a bunch of euros at the end of the month. This of course, provoked for the low salaries received from the company.
Another issue in this last part of my employment was the NO RESPECT of your resting periods. After a flight, you need to have 12h30m of rest and Operations control should not interrupt this period. I lost the count for how many times they called me before my 12h30m of rest, changing me duties at all times.
AS well, people are asked to work on the day OFF, with no extra payment and no other benefit back. Not even taxi paid if needed. This practice has been taking in all of the network. The problem is that people accept to work on their days off and the company are taking advantage of this situation . This provokes again a cut in our worker's rights.
Since I joined the company, the lack of knowledge of safety has been remarkable. I have seen people totally paralyzed in medical emergencies for not knowing what to do. People not answering the question of how to use of a Halon (Fire extinguisher), people sleeping in the galleys and getting called via the interphone and not answering, people skipping safety procedures at all times, playing on the phone on taking-off and landings (which is strictly forbidden), etc...
The new standards to enter in the company have been lowered to a really minimum. The level of English is practically inexistent. There is no psychological test (some people are clearly mentally disordered/ socially misfit).
There are so many breaches in the company that I cannot really think about all of them.
I just wanted to make you this clear and if you want you can expose this in your web page. Make this known! As I think all people should know that when they are paying a 10 euro ticket, they are paying "slavery" and really bad conditions for workers.
If you need to make more questions, please feel free.

CREWLINK IRELAND CABIN CREW TRAINING IN UK.. "No Thanks"...
Over the last month Ryanairdontcare Campaign have been contacted by a few young people wishing to join Ryanair. They have contacted our campaign for information regarding Crewlink Ireland Ltd (who Ryanair set up)..
Hi John,
"Since going to the interview back in December 2016 for crewlink. I am shocked after coming across John's blog, it's makes sence to me now why do crewlink recruit all the time because they get paid to do it and people leave the airline as apprently their is a high drop out rate. Lying to recruit people to be cabin crew, also how crewlink / Dalmac take your last month's wages once you're terminated (disgusting) & How much money they take from people week after week with the assessment days all they are thinking of is profit not the people who work for the airline and their best interests. it's shocking and disgraceful.
I certainly! won't be doing the training course with crewlink / ryanair in March, & I say to anyone who is thinking of doing the training course and working for them... please read this blog first before making any decisions that come at a price.. of €2,700
Thank you John :) for spreading the word without me coming across your blog I would have been none the wiser.

VICTIM OF RYANAIR CABIN CREW SCAM.
COMMONS BELOW CAME TO THIS BLOG A FEW DAYS AGO.
TIME TO BOYCOTT RYANAIR. ..
Hello, i'm another victim of this scam.
I worked as a slave all summer long, due to the high volume passengers during summer, earning less than €1000 euro, because i ha to pay the course.
As soon as i finished to pay the training fee (almost €3000) i got fired, before 12 months (what a coincidence). They claim they called me from an home standby but i didn't receive any call, resulting in one no-show (to work). Now, i don't have any other money to waste for hiring a lawyer, to get the calling list from the telephone company.
I was sent to Dublin to attend a meeting where you have to explain everything and, if you were sick, to explain what you had, treated in bad way, trying to make you feel guilty (unbelievable). Than i was sent to London Stansted just to get the firing letter (something that could be done by sending it to the home-base), without any notice of firing. I met a lot of people to those meetings, called for a lot of ridiculous motivations (seems they are constantly searching for people to fire). And lately those meeting are increased concurrently with a changing of an important manager (wanting to make a good impression to the superiors?).
In the letter they stated, moreover, that my .... sicknesses were not certified, but i have proof of it! And as i know the Irish law permits the employer to fire without any reason before 12 months, so even if I prosecute for this i'll probably lose.
All my colleagues are shocked because i was a serious worker. I don't want the job back in this company but i'd like to make a little bit of justice.
Any suggestion?
Best regards.

What Ryanair did was increase the cabin crew training for new recruits at the very same time and was this to cover the cost of defibrillators and cabin crew training in the use of them.
YES YOU CAN BE SURE OF THAT.

Well just over one hour ago I was sent a very sad message on Ryanairdontcare Campaign's facebook page which you can read below.
As you can see more people have died on Ryanair flights. Ryanairdontcare Campaign covered this story in January 2016 below.
http://ryanairdontcarecrew.blogspot.co.uk/2016/01/ryanair-automated-external.html
We have just been informed by a family friend that a defibrillator was on board the flight from Malaga to Liverpool on 26th October 2016 but was NOT used. Our deepest sympathy goes to the family of Vicky Muir.
Ryanair have a lot of explaining to do about this and why was this not covered in the mainstream news.
Ryanair's priority is profit do not be fooled and should be boycotted at all cost.

RYANAIR SCRATCH CARDS...IT IS A SCAM.YES...£MILLIONS A MONTH PROFIT..
John Said,
It is great news that more people are aware of these Ryanair charity scratch cards and i would hope the readers of not only this newspaper but all passengers flying Ryanair would boycott this scratch card.It truly is a SCAM which Ryanairdontcare exposed in 2014..
To hit Ryanair even more passengers who fly with them can make a big difference by not buying any item on board their aircraft...
Ryanair not only scam passengers but they recruitment scam thousands of cabin crew all over Europe for profit by using so called third party companies (Crewlink Ireland & Workforce International run by Dalmac)all set up by Ryanair..
In 2017 Ryanairdontcare Campaign is hopping to release a book which will cover our 7 year campaign against Ryanair with a high level of information Ryanair will not want you to Know.
If any visitors to this blog can donate to this book it would be much appreciated.Ryanair will try to ban this book but you will not succeed David Bonderman/Michael O'Leary.

Thank you.
Ryanair slammed for ‘Fly to Win’ charity scratch card where odds of winning are 1.2BILLION/1…. and only small percentage of the profits go to good causes...
RYANAIR have been slammed for their “misleading” charity scratch card game where players have an estimated one in 1.2BILLION chance of winning the €1m jackpot.
The heavily stacked odds are a staggering 26 TIMES higher than your chances of winning the National Lottery, and are largely a result of a bizarre twist in the game which can only be discovered in the small print.
Our gambling partner SunBets has estimated players have just a one in 1.2billion chance of winning the jackpot
The budget airline’s lottery game has also been criticised because it is sold on the appeal that a portion of the profits go to charity, when only a small percentage of the cash made actually reaches good causes.
Each year one passenger who has purchased a Ryanair scratch card is pulled out of the hat and is in with a “chance” of scooping the top prize.
However, the “lucky winner” is then invited to a room where 125 envelopes are laid out across the table and just ONE of them has the €1m prize inside.
This final element to the draw is not mentioned by staff trying to flog the cards
Ryanair has claimed the other envelopes all contain €50,000 and so a huge sum of money is still up for grabs.
They also say at least one car a month is won in the draw and there are other cash prices up to €5,000.
The chance of the winning the jackpot, which in the current climate amounts to around £900,254, is estimated to be slightly more than a 1.2billion/1.
The number has been worked out based on claims from former cabin crew who have said roughly 15 tickets are sold on each flight.
Ryanair, who have refused to reveal how many cards they sell each year, boast of operating 1,800 flights a day.
That means players have a roughly one in 10m chance of being given the opportunity to pocket €1m.
If they make it to that stage they then have a 1 in 125 chance of picking the right envelope to claim the jackpot.
When all of that is multiplied together you end up with the jaw-dropping near-impossible odds.
In contrast the chance of winning the National Lottery is 45million/1.
The odds of scooping the Ryanair jackpot also dwarfs Paddy Power’s price on Elvis still being alive at 2,000/1, and of Dean Gaffney winning an Oscar at 1,000/1.
Former Ryanair cabin crew members have predicted the budget airline sells roughly 15 cards on each flight
The controversial game attracted media attention last year when Facebook user James McKelvie slammed it as “utterly cynical”.
Ryanair sell the tickets on the appeal that some of the profits are donated to charity, but Mr McKelvie found that just 0.3% of their scratch card profits from 2013 were donated to good causes.
He added that the firm sold €16m worth of tickets that year.
Campaign group Ryanair Don’t Care allege the percentage donated has now risen to 2%, but claim the price of the cards has increased from €2 to €4.
Ryanair has claimed that in the last 5 years scratchcards sales have generated over €2million for good causes including Childline and SOS Children’s Villages.
The figure represents 200,000 a year in donations despite the fact they sell an estimated 10million scratch cards a year in what is billed as a “charity game”.
A spokesperson from the group said: “It is totally unfair to create a charity scratch card game which is pretty much impossible to win, and to use the idea of charity to make more profits.
“They say they can’t reveal how much they make from the tickets because it is commercially sensitive but I doubt that.”
Ryanair have defended their “Fly to Win” game and claim they also give away cars and smaller cash prizes
A spokesman from our gambling site partner SunBets said: “If those stats are correct then they are selling nearly 10 million tickets a year, and from that number of tickets only 1 goes through to the final draw.
“From there you are still 124/1 to win, no wonder it’s never been won.
“It means that if I get on board a Ryanair flight today and buy one ticket, the chances of that ticket scooping me the jackpot is over 1.2 BILLION/1.
“To help visualise that, image you have to toss a coin and have it land on tails 30 CONSECUTIVE times. Every time it doesn’t, you have pay 2 euros.
“Try it. By the time you’ve spun it to land tails 30 consecutive times, inflation will have made 1 million virtually worthless and you’ll have spent over a billion getting it anyway! Plus you’ll be dead.
“The only thing we’d be prepared to offer such astronomical odds on would be to pick a particular date for the world to come to an end on.
“You can have TWO billion/1 on that if you like, no-one getting paid out even if it happens.”
THIS IS WHAT RYANAIR CEO THINKS ABOUT THE ON BOARD RYANAIR CHARITY SCRATCH CARD SCAM EXPOSED BY RYANAIRDONTCARE CAMPAIGN.
A Ryanair spokesman said: “We don’t disclose scratchcard sales for commercial reasons.
"However, you have misunderstood our scratchcard prizes, which include thousands of cash prizes (up to €5,000), free cars (at least 1 per month) and a chance to participate in an annual draw with a 125-1 chance of winning the €1 million top prize, but a certainty of winning at least €50,000.
"Over the last 5 years our scratchcards sales have generated over €2 million, which has been donated to 50 charities across 12 different EU countries covering a wide range of hospitals, schools and child welfare fund raisings.”

RYANAIR CABIN CREW JOBS-SALARY-RECRUITMENT NOT ALL IT SEEMS..RYANAIR AGM 2016..
MAIN TOPIC HERE IS CREWLINK IRELAND LTD.........
Ryanair cabin crew recruitment is run by companies set up by Ryanair to do so.Cabin crew recruitment in UK was run by St James Management who went into Liquidation in 2014.Ryanairdontcare Campaign main aim was to target St James Management who was used as a tool to scam young cabin crew in the UK which involved the daughter of the founder of this blog.
Due to the Ryanair apprenticeship scam involving St James Management which this blog exposed in 2014, this was the reason we believe it went into Liquidation in 2014 to cover this scam.Scam exposed here.http://ryanairdontcarecrew.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/ryanair-exploit-apprenticeshipcabin.html
A company called Cavok in Portugal was used in Europe with the help of Crewlink to recruit cabin crew in Europe for Ryanair. This only lasted a few years because Cavok started charging a even high price for training which Ryanair were not happy with.Only Ryanair can Scam you...
Crewlink Ireland Ltd and Workforce International are used to mainly recruit cabin crew all over Europe for Ryanair now. These companies involved give out their own contract to these cabin crew recruits to work on board Ryanair flights.
Crewlink Ltd was set up in 2004 but went into Liquidation in 2008 with a new business set up called Crewlink Ireland Ltd.
Workforce International is run by Dalmac in Rush Ireland mainly run by Anne McCrudden who has become a wealthy lady due to recruitment of cabin crew for Ryanair.
Crewlink Ireland is run mainly by a Judy Byrne who is the bigger fish in the Ryanair cabin crew recruitment SCAM bowl.
Crewlink Ireland in 2013/2014 had 2,571 cabin crew contracts on their books.Supplying cabin crew to Ryanair.None being contracted with Ryanair but contracted with Crewlink.
There is many Scams inside Ryanair which make multi millions each year with Cabin Crew per hour rate of pay being one of the biggest.Only problem is that many young cabin crew are unknowingly caught up in this Scam through Recruitment for termination,
which does so much damage to thousands of young people that only wish to become cabin crew.
Crewlink Ireland in 20013/2014 had a turnover of €52.25 million with €45.5 million paid in salary wages to cabin crew (NOT) and €6.75 million being earned from Cabin Crew recruitment and training fees.
Crewlink Ireland and Workforce International and Ryanair have been saying cabin crew will earn from €1000-€1200 a month in their online literature. As of 2016 no mention is made from their online literature regarding the starting salary of new recruited cabin crew by Crewlink Ireland / Workforce International. This is what they say regarding salary below..
Crewlink Ireland Ltd...
What's on offer for full-time crew?
A fixed-term contract for 3 years with Crewlink who are contracted to supply cabin crew to Ryanair.
No planned overnights - Ryanair gets you home to your Base every day ‘On Time’.
Shifts are 5/3 - 5/3 - 5 days on, 3 days off followed by 5 days on, 3 days off.
1.66 days holiday per month.
Generous travel benefits from day one, giving you the opportunity to fly abroad on your days off. Rome for lunch? Or Skiing in Austria?
Competitve salary dependant on where you are based throughout the Ryanair newtork.
A ‘New Joiners Allowance’ - an extra €1,200 paid over first 6 months at the start of your new career.
Great promotional opportunities: If you are a successful member of crew, you have the potential to be directly employed with Ryanair and, after 12 months, you may be eligible for promotion to a Customer Service Supervisor, earning in excess of €30,000 gross per annum.
A Customer Service Supervisor promotion would involve:
Increased responsibility as you manage a team of three other Cabin Crew on each flight.
Increased pay - Ryanair Supervisors based in the UK & Ireland earn approximately £25,000/€30,000 gross per annum.
Increased Staff Travel benefits (including discounted travel on other airlines).
The above salary is regarding cabin crew who are contracted at Ryanair by Ryanair which is less than 20% of cabin crew numbers of 5000+. This promotion is very hard to achieve, yet some do but thousands do not.Ryanair use these figures above when ever they talk about salary of their cabin crew.
Never will Michael O'Leary talk about the 4000+ cabin crew contracted through Crewlink Ireland /Workforce International because these cabin crew make Ryanair €Millions each month through the per hour rate of pay Scam.
Many cabin crew earn can earn as low as £591 a month,
So let us explain the cabin crew per hour rate of pay Scam.We will focus on one of the companies involved(they have two), Crewlink Ireland who in 2013/2014 had turnover of €52.25 million with €45.5 million paid in salary wages to 2,571 cabin crew on their books at the time.
At the top average salary of €1200 after tax a month x 2,571 = €30,85 million. With €45,5 million paid out in salary,€14.65 million is in whose pocket?
Let us not forget many cabin crew here are paid much less than €1200 a month and some will be getting more than €1200 a month.
Crewlink bill Ryanair a higher price per hour rate of pay for the 2,571 cabin crew on their books which in the agency world of recruitment is allowed. The difference here is Ryanair senior management set up Crewlink Ireland and the extra salary payments seems right but they are not.The high lever of terminations of cabin crew at Ryanair has a direct in pack on these salary payments from Ryanair..It is a maze set up no to be detected with young cabin crew's lives damaged forever. With PAYE being one more Scam involved here,Termination of many is inevitable.
With the very same thing going on within Ryanair pilot recruitment, Ryanair senior management could be racking in well over €100 million a year from this per hour rate of pay Scam set up by Ryanair.
Crewlink Ireland and Workforce International (Dalmac)are very busy trying to recruit as many cabin crew as possible all over Europe to keep this per hour rate of pay Scam going.
